TablEdit is by far the easiest, and best program for writing tab that I have ever worked with. Very easy to use, and seems to do everything. This program is really complete and files are very easy to share with other students that also have the TablEdit program. I do alot of workshops, and TablEdit has made getting my materials together so much easier. I always tell my students about this great program, and many have told me this has made learning so much easier. Best learning tool on the market in my opinion. Phil Leadbetter is an American resonator guitar player known for his playing with top bluegrass bands J.D Crowe And The New South, The Whites, Wildfire, Grasstowne and Flashback. Phil is a 2-time International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) "Dobro Player Of The Year", a 2-time SPBGMA "Dobro Player Of The Year", and a 1994 Grammy nominee for his work as a member of J.D Crowe And The Newsouth's CD "Flashback". Phil is also a member of the Atlanta Country Music Hall Of Fame.
In 2003, Gibson Guitars introduced The Phil Leadbetter Signature Dobro Guitar to its acoustic musical instrument division. After 10 years of production, Gibson discontinued its Dobro line. Phil now has his own signature line of resonator guitars with The Recording King Company based out of Los Angeles.
Phil's playing can be heard on many projects including J.D Crowe And The Newsouth, Dale Ann Bradley, Dolly Parton, Doyle Lawson And Quicksilver, Wildfire, Grasstowne and Flashback to name a few. Phil has 3 solo projects. In 2005, his solo recording "Slide Effects" was named "Bluegrass Instrumental Recording Of The Year" by the IBMA in Nashville, TN. The CD also produced several #1 charting songs on bluegrass radio.
