Giovanni Pelosi

Italian guitarist and guitar teacher

I knew about TablEdit about 10 years ago, from my friend Marco De Marco, who teaches classical guitar at the Conservatory.
Before I'd tried with one of those two big softwares, but couldn't learn to use it properly in months.
The first TablEdit score I made was an arrangement of "Stay", and I thought to submit it at Larry Kuhns, that I believe is who writes the best guitar music scores I've read.
Larry was (and still is) a patient guy, and helped me very much, and sometimes I had a chance to ask something directly to Keith and then to Matthieu, and they all have always been absolutely friendly.
I've tabledited not less than 100 songs, and sometimes I find amusing tablediting poly-instrumental scores, because the audio skills are very impressive.
As the art director of the Fingerpicking.net web site and recording label, and now music editor, I've adviced Reno Brandoni to make also music books using the TablEdit (still we need Larry's help, hee hee), and the results are amazing! Giovanni Pelosi

Giovanni Pelosi started playing electrical guitar in the early 60s, and fully converted to fingerpicking acoustic guitar in 1980.

Since then, he's published a book (on "Beatles for Fingerpicing Guitar"), three solo CDs ("It's The Time!", "Fretwalkin'" and "Train-ing").

As a teacher, he's taught at the "Testaccio" school of Rome, Italy, and as a performer he's shared the stage with many of the best known fingerstylers in the world, such as Stefan Grossman, John Renbourn, Duck Baker, Giovanni Unterberger, Franco Morone, Peter Finger, François Sciortino, Rodolfo Maltese and others.

In the last two years, he's been included some songs in two international compilations, invited by Peter Finger: "Christmas Unplugged" (Wonderland Records) and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (Acoustic Music Records).
