To write the sheet music of my compositions, I tried a number of softwares. From the very simple one to the highly sophisticated, from the freeware to the most expensive program. TablEdit eventually appeared to be the best compromise. Both friendly user and intuitive, with a good value for money, it is also a powerful tool offering all the functions needed for writing high quality scores and tablatures. Frédéric Mesnier is a french guitarist and composer, born in 1961. He shares his music across the world through numerous instrumental videos available on the web, especially on YouTube under the username of FMGuitar. The millions of views generated by his videos show the popularity of his compositions. Self-taught, he discovers the instrument at 14, working with the tablatures of Marcel Dadi, the beloved French picker. Later he turns to the classical repertoire. His guitar playing, anchored in a strong classical base, merges styles and influences with success. As an example of this - Medieval Song - one of his most famous compositions with two millions views on YouTube, has been for several years one of the top rated video worldwide in its category.
