TablEdit Users Say:

"I've had formal training and can read standard musical notation quite well, but accurate transcriptions of solos for guitar, mandolin, and 5-string banjo are more scarce than hen's teeth. My first 5-string banjo solos were learned by taking 33 1/3 RPM records and slowing them down to 16 RPM on my parent's old console stereo. The process was slow and painful to say the least.
TablEdit is more than I could ever have asked for. I first downloaded the free TablEdit player and quickly learned dozens of tunes for mandolin. Since then I purchased the full-featured version of TablEdit. It enabled me to easily transcribe a duet for guitar and five-string banjo that I had written years ago titled "The Mines Of Moria" (TablEdit file attached), and I submitted the TablEdit file and notation to the U.S. Copyright office, and received official copyrights to the tune.
You've got a great product. Well worth the purchase price."

This function allows direct import of text stored on the Windows clipboard as an ABC or an ASCII tablature. This assumes that you have previously copied the text corresponding to an ABC score or to an ASCII tablature from some external program.
