"I like TablEdit for several reasons. You are able to see the notes you are to play on the instrument that you play. The notes are in a very simple mode for those of us who do not make reading real music a normal procedure for the stringed instrument we might be learning to play. In other words, the notes are actually the fretted fret and the line is the actual string you are to play. Plus you have sound as well with this program!
You can also go to various different web sites to find most of your favorite songs that have been wrote out in the Tablature format.
I didn't discover TAB until after I learned my instrument to a certain point by ear, but thankfully we now have the ability to actually write out music for the string instrument you are working on.
My final thoughts are I highly recommend anyone who is just starting out, or who has never tried to read TAB to get this program and learn how to read Tablature. It will certainly help you to make great gains in your playing.
