TablEdit Users Say:

"TablEdit allowed me to overcome some of the hurdles beginning musicians face, by helping to keep practice fun and easy. My career with an international technology consulting firm prevents me from attending regular live music lessons because my work and travel schedule is so unpredictable. Commercial audio, video and computer software lesson plans don't usually have indie rock band samples with which I want to play along. With TablEdit I've been able to construct drum, guitar, and bass lessons on my own terms, when I'm able, with music that I'm passionate about."
Josh Schmidt - Washington, USA

Dear TablEdit User,

We, the TablEdit Development & Support team, would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the TablEdit family. As a team, we're dedicated to bringing you the very best possible software for creating tablatures, whether of your own music or transcriptions of the music of others. In order to make this possible, we try our very best to respond to your needs and suggestions.
The Development & Support team is truly international in nature and consists of:

Matthieu Leschemelle - our intrepid programmer and the originator of TablEdit. He also writes the French manual, provides both French and English language support and handles registrations for those regions not having their own regional registrar. He lives in Saint Germain en Laye, just outside of Paris and you can contact him directly at: matt0308@tabledit.com.

Keith Saturn - this is our Webmaster. He's responsible for maintaining the TablEdit home page at http://www.tabledit.com. He also handles English language support and U.S. registrations. Keith hails from Rochester, New York and can be reached at: keith@tabledit.com.

Tom Thomason - responsible for the English manual, Tom is co-author, with Larry Kuhns, of the artistic tutorial. A long-time guitar teacher and performer, Tom's guitar specialties are country blues, classical ragtime and Merle Travis picking. He's also the registrar for Scandinavia (he lives in Gothenburg, Sweden) and provides technical and artistic support in Swedish, English and French. You can write to him at: tom0502@tabledit.com.

Wolfgang Pohl - Wolfgang is responsible for the German manual and provides German language support as well as our registrar for the German-speaking parts of the world. A resident of Bremen, he's been playing guitar since he was 14 years old and has performed with a number of local Folk Rock and Country Rock bands. His favorite types of music are slow ballads and medieval classical music. You can write to him at: tabledit_2005@pointtopoint.de.

Ken Goddard – Our Archivist. He's the one to send your tablatures to if you wish to contribute to our collection of Public Domain tablatures (see note below). He can be contacted at: tabs@tabledit.com.

A note concerning the Free Tablature Archive

Due to legal considerations, only tablatures clearly in the Public Domain or those for which permission has been granted by the copyright holder will be added to the Archive. Do not send us tablatures copied from books or sheet music as these will be rejected out of hand. This includes tablatures for which we cannot easily ascertain the current copyright status. Please include such information in the "Title information" dialog in the program.
