TablEdit Users Say:

"I started using TablEdit a few years ago when I had a new guitar for Christmas. My problem is that I cannot read music very well so needed some way of hearing what the music in books and magazines SHOULD sound like. I also needed something which would allow me to follow a tune, at my own pace, with the option of repeating sequences and speeding things up as I improved. TablEdit does all of these things and more. One of the things I really find useful is being able to include and exclude accompaniments as required. Although there is no way I can be called an expert guitar player (my family will vouch for that!), TablEdit has allowed me to enjoy learning to play. I chose TablEdit because it seemed to be the most popular tool available. I was particularly impressed with being able to evaluate the software before buying. I was even more impressed because there was a one off registration fee. The subsequent updates and personal support have been excellent."

Vibrato

1° The vibrato can now be linked to a previous bend or slide effect.

2° The vibrato frequency can be adjusted by selecting the note then typing [<]. The value goes from 16 (1/16 note duration) up to 1 then to 16 again. The default value is 12 (no change with earlier versions).

3° The vibrato amplitude can be adjusted by selecting the note then typing [>]. The value goes from 8 (1/2 tone) up to 1 then to 8 again. The default value is 4 (no change with earlier versions).

4° The display has been improved in order to reflect the vibrato settings.

Here's a tef with some effects Tony Willis managed to get with vibrato.
