"My banjo instructor asked me why I re-enter his handwritten tablature into TablEdit. There are a bunch of reasons: 1) it is legible!, 2) I can hear the piece played correctly anytime I need a review, 3) I can play it at gradually increasing speeds to help me master it, 4) I can designate measures to loop so I can learn that tricky lick, 5) I can add a guitar accompaniment to help me get ready for jams, and 6) I have it on my computer so I don't have to worry about losing it. "One year ago I found Tabledit in the Internet. I downloaded it intending to delete it after a quick glance. When I tried the software I was so impressed that I brought out a guitar from storage to have a go. After thirty years playing classical music and the blues I became tired of reading music notation, I was never good at it. With the demo of TablEdit I played a piece in two days and wrote another piece in a few days, I was amazed with the software so I purchased it. The reason I bought the music was to avoid trying to sight read music. Using Tabledit has improved my speed reading music, I still use the music to get the timing in a new piece that I may download.
